10 Days in London!  What to see, what I ate?

I just returned from 10 days in London for a family vacation.

Amazing city, super friendly people, very polite.

Food was good overall, and such a great walking city.

Averaged more than 15,000 steps per day!

Super safe too.

Highlights?  Tea at the Sanderson Hotel, awesome!  Great tea and food!

The London Dungeon was SO much fun!

The Tower of London, Buckingham Palace were two other must see’s.

The tour of Shakespeare’s Globe Theater was decent, not spectacular.

Borough Market is an amazing food market, definitely worth seeing.

Favorite section of the city?  Covent Garden…such a cool area, with restuarants and shops.

What I ate?  We went out to dinner 10 nights in a row since we were staying at a hotel.  Had Thai food twice, Mexican food, Italian, Tapas, Tawainese food and more…very international city with great options.  Fantastic apples, nectarines and donut peaches too!

Very good hotel, the Canopy, with a functional/clean gym, nice (but small to moderate sized rooms) and a great lobby with a restaurant or just to relax and chat.

The hotel was about a mile or two from the action (near the Tower of London).

The airline Virgin Atlantic was great, and a super friendly staff.

Check out lots of my pics of the London trip on facebook at https://www.facebook.com/kevin.grodnitzky.  Follow or friend me there.

Have a wonderful day.
