Are there any fruits to be avoided for weight loss? No, all fruits and varieties can be consumed. As we are striving for a nutrient rich diet, each fruit provides a different array of of vitamins, minerals and phyto-chemicals that benefit your health and restricting the types of fruit will limit nutrient diversity. Aren’t some fruits higher in sugar? Yes, but since fruits are loaded with water and fiber and very low in fat and relatively low in calories, they don’t cause weight gain , even higher sugar fruits. I eat berries, apples, bananas, mangos, pineapple, passion and dragon fruit and any type of fruit I enjoy!
