Should we get a blood test called apo b?

weight loss for seniors | Nutrition Coaching Center

Lab tests. Have you ever had an apo b blood test? This test may be more sensitive than a lipid (cholesterol test) panel in predicting heart disease risk, although both are important.

At your next check up, consider requesting this test and making it a regular part of your lab work.

Ideally, apo b is under 90, but even lower may lower risk further.

*Keeping habits going are most important. While I typically run 3 miles, 4 days per week, the last few days I ran 1.25 miles (yesterday) and 2.5 miles (the day before). Busier days, and my initial thoughts were skip the run, but’s all or nothing thinking. Instead, I ran shorter distances to keep the habit alive.

Have a healthy day!
