I lost 30 lbs. and have kept it off! How did I do it?
Old Me: Struggled with inconsistent workouts, yo-yo dieting, self-sabotage, and weight fluctuations.
Present Me: I eat healthy at least 90% of the time, strive to avoid the diet mentality, all or nothing and perfectionism, and workout 5-6 days per week.
Old Me: Struggled with cravings for sugar, chocolate, deserts BIG TIME!
Present Me: Replaced processed sugar with whole food forms of sugar like fresh fruit. Had pineapple and mango yesterday! Feel better, sugar cravings gone! It took about 3-6 months for the sugar cravings to completely go away.
Old me: Energy up and down, not consistent.
Present Me: Feel better. More consistent energy with steady, healthy eating.
Truth? It took time, persistence, hard work and trial and error. I had struggles and slips and learned along the way.
Consistently striving to eat healthier day in and day out.
CIOT = continuous improvement over time instead of AON, all or nothing, which doesn’t work.
Also, recognizing and avoiding acting on self-sabotaging thoughts.
