How to lower cholesterol without meds with these 6 foods?

I had high blood cholesterol and lowered it using these steps:

This was back in 2007/2008.

I was eating healthy overall, but eating a little too much of this…
and a little too much of that.

What was I eating a little too much of?

Some ice cream or gelato from Rita’s on the weekends…
…pizza or another cheesy dish like lasagna once or twice a week…
plus, a few more deserts here and there.

And…my weight was up a few lbs.

How did I lower my cholesterol?

Two changes helped:

1. I increased the soluble fiber (see the foods below) in my diet to trap and then eliminate cholesterol from my intestines.

a. Beans
b. Oats
c. Fruits (such as apples and strawberries) among others
d. Vegetables (like carrots and broccoli)
e. Seeds such as psyllium, flax or chia seeds
f. Avocados

2. I also reduced the saturated fat which can raise blood cholesterol such as:

a. Cheese
b. Ice Cream
c. Fatty deserts
d. Also, fatty meats, and fatty animal products in general.

It’s a two-step process: Increase soluble fiber and decrease saturated fat to lower cholesterol naturally. Then, watch your cholesterol drop without medication!

Have a healthy day!
