With Thanksgiving approaching, where most Americans gorge on too much and often less healthy food, let’s make this our healthiest holiday season yet!
Certainly, if you decide to have some of your favorite holiday foods, let’s aim to reduce the quantity of the less healthy stuff and increase the quantity of veggies and other healthy foods available. Aim for a plate with 50% or more of veggies.
Also, let’s strive to make the rest of the day as healthy as possible and Friday morning back to our daily routine.
If we slip, next meal or snack, get right back on track. Then, strategize for the next time we are in that situation.
With that approach, each holiday meal from year to year gets a little healthier!
Have a healthy day!
